What a small hidden gem. I wanted to leave Florida after eating authentic Cuban food on Calle Ocho. The place is cozy which means small. The service was good and the food was excellent. The Ropa Vieja with two sides was too much for me to finish. I highly recommend this place.

This place stands out on its own, Laurent makes the experience complete! Service, personality, hospitality, incomparable! Having had little true Cuban food in our lives, we can not imagine it gets much better. Started with a couple of Cuban coffees that were delectable. Then the Ham Croquettes appy, followed by the Sandwich Cubano (wife and I shared)....yum! The fries were even perfect; dipped in the Cilantro Aioli they were superb! Heck, even their ice water was spot-on, if that's even a thing. Since I had seen a review, and was told by Laurent it was one of their specialties, I asked for a small taste. Yep, excellence once again. Though we were full she teased us with Flan....o.k. Homemade with whipped cream, it melts. Love is present in every bite, every sip, every conversation. We live across the country, and might never be back. However, if we do find our way back, this establishment will get our business.

What a pleasant surprise. We were on our way to see a show at the Arsht Center and left the house a little early so we could have dinner. We figured somewhere on Eighth Street would be convenient, but we didn't know where to go. We looked up Cuban restaurants on Yelp and found lots of great reviews for this charming little place. We parked right out front and went inside and were greeted by a hostess with the biggest smile I've ever seen in a restaurant. Lauren was very proud of the restaurant and the food and recommended the things that we should have. My wife is a vegetarian and often has to scour a menu for that she can eat, but here they have lots of choices and they were more than willing to make special dishes from scratch. All of it was delicious: vegetable empanadas, rice and black beans, and tostones. I had the house specialty fish stew with rice and salad. It was all wonderful, hot and fresh, and very reasonably priced. The decor is lovely and the service, as I said, is exceptional. A great great find with the real flavor of Cuba. We'll come back soon and we'll be sure to bring out of town guests for a very unique Miami experience.

The waitress recommended their house specialty - the fish stew. It's AMAZING. With white rice and maduros, I literally couldn't speak from the flavor perfection! It's not what I think of as fish stew. This was a thick, wonderful saucy fish plate. Top it off with their perfect cubano dulce and flan. She promised I'd remember them. And she didn't lie!

Amazing authentic Cuban food! Our server, Lauren, was super sweet and very attentive. The ambience of the place was very cute and homey. The mismatched tables and chairs were cute without seeing cluttered or disorganized. Would come back again!

Genuinely one of the absolute best Cuban restaurants we've had in a while. The rice was so flavorful, the croquettes and the lechon was perfect. Staff was outstanding and super cute inside!

We had a wonderful meal at Habana con B. The service was fantastic. I love it when the staff is confident about the food and gives recommendations based on what they like best. We loved: roast pork, fish croquettes, black beans, yucca, and rice. The flan was among the best we've ever had. This is an absolute must-try and I believe that this is the best Cuban food in Miami and possibly the US.

We stumbled upon this restaurant and discovered a hidden gem. Delicious food and amazing hospitality. It was quiet night so my friend was worried because we were the only ones there, but it was excellent. I hope all of you will give it a try. It is a great family owned, reasonably priced Cuban restaurant.

What an amazing restaurant... excellent, friendly service and the food is spectacular. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars... it was that good.

I saw the Yelp reviews and decided we had to try this place since we were in Little Havana. One of the store vendors also recommended this place. The restaurant is run by a family. The mother and father cook and their daughter is the maitre d and waitress. She is very friendly and warm and very caring about her customers. We shared an order of croquettes and roasted pork with plantains and mouro (rice and beans). Everything was delicious. The place is beautifully decorated and was done by the owner. Check out the bar counter, her husband designed it. The restaurant is a bit further away from the part of Calle Ocho that has lots of restaurants. It's worth checking out.
